The Field and Mary Scovell Scholarship Foundation today announced the 15 recipients of $3,000 college grants that honor the memory of "Mr. Cotton Bowl" -- Field Scovell, and his wife of nearly 50 years, Mary.

The Field & Mary Scovell Scholarship Foundation announced today that scholarship applications for 15 individual $3,000 grants will be accepted through Saturday, March 21. The scholarships will be awarded this spring to North Texas high school graduates with leadership abilities, high moral character, demonstrated financial need, and a connection to sports.
